I Trust in Jesus - Single Adults

A Note To My Faithful Subscribers

As many of you know, I was laid off from my job on May 1 of this year. Since then, I have used much of my time to develop a closer and more intimate relationship with God and to minister to others, like yourself, on my journey. In writing these daily messages, I have been sharing the things that God has revealed to me in an effort to glorify Him and build His kingdom.

I have not reached the end of this journey, however, I have now come to a point where I will be required to spend more of my time seeking employment. Since there are only 24 hours in each day, I will have to spend less time writing and more time "hitting the bricks". This doesn't mean that I am going to quit writing; it means that I may not be able to write every day. I suppose that you could say that my journey has only taken another route right now.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you all that YOU can publish your thoughts on this site! I invite any of you to post messages on this site. I will review each posted message prior to posting it to the site. If, for any reason, I don't publish a message, I will correspond with that individual and discuss it with them.

Remember, I am not quitting - only cutting back. And my love for the Lord, who has been and is still sustaining me, has not diminished but continues to grow with each passing minute! For it is only through the grace of God that I continue to be blessed with His providence.

We are all on the same boat in this earthly life - struggling with the same temptations, requiring the same encouragement, striving for the same goal. It is with this understanding that I would implore all of you to submit thoughts, revelations or articles that will help us on our journey towards that goal - that one day we can be with the one that created us and bring as many others with us as we can.

I want to give one instruction that I stand on. It is a good rule to live by which is the best witness to an unbelieving world. If we keep in the forefront of our minds that God is in control and that His love surrounds us, we can "Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Like a light draws a moth, a joyful spirit will draw many to the source of that joy which is Jesus Christ.

In closing, I would like to share the same words that Paul used in his second letter to the believers at Corinth - "Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you" (2 Cor 13:11).

In Christ's Love,

Curtis
